OUTSTANDING! It doesn't get better than this Toshiba...I looked at several tv's over the past few months until I decided that this was the best HDTV on the market and boy was I right. (purchased from another online site) Hooked up to my PS3 it is stunningly flawless and there is absoulutly no lag or fuzziness in the picture as with other TV's I've seen. I don't know what else I can say...I was going to buy a Samsung but this picture and sound quality can't be beat!

Description
The wide viewing angle provided by the In Plane Switching (IPS) LCD panel lets you enjoy an extraordinary picture from the left, right, above or below. Colors are clear and vivid even when the screen is viewed from an angle. This LCD TV features an extremely wide viewing angle of 178?, so whether you're right in front of the TV or sitting off to the side, you'll still get great image quality. With Panasonic, it's easy for everyone in the room to enjoy the show. This widescreen TV features a width-to-height ratio similar to movie theater screens, providing a theater-like experience at home. View HDTV broadcasts and widescreen DVDs the way they were meant to be seen.HDTV broadcasts and DVDs offer more detail and better color than analog broadcasts, and it takes a high-resolution display to deliver all that picture information. The high pixel count of this LCD TV provides fine detail for outstanding HDTV reproduction. More pixels also translate into less stair-stepping artifacts; curved and diagonal edges look smooth and natural. With EZ Sync HDAVI Control, watching a movie is as easy as pressing a single button. One touch of the remote control turns on the TV and your EZ Sync-compatible components instantly and automatically. All you have to do is sit back and watch. Once you experience this kind of convenience, you'll never want to go back to yesterday's technology. If you have even a moderately complicated home theater setup, you probably have a pile of tangled cables on the floor behind it. Imagine replacing all those cables with a single cable that carries both digital video and audio at the same time. With the HDMI standard, that's exactly what you get. The HDMI connector on this TV accepts high-quality digital video and audio via the same thin cable, allowing you to run one cable from the source to the TV.

  • I bought my 26" Panasonic TC-26LX LCD TV in Feb 14 2007, and still the company is unable to fix the problem that the TV cannot receive any more than 2 or 3 unscrambled HDTV channels when connected to Time Warner cable in Albany NY area. On the other hand I have a SONY KDL 26s2010 26" Bravia S series TV connected to the same cable system, and I get 24 HD channels. The Panasonic technical people told me to take the TV to a service center which kept the TV for 3.5 weeks, replaced the tuner, but it did not fix the problem. The TV repair person told me that the QAM tuner in the Panasonic has such a low gain that it does not see the signals in the cable. The SONY TV has a higer gain QAM tuner. When I told the Panasonic people about it, they told me that they will send me another repair person. The second repair people was the local Lake Electronic Store who asked me to explain my problem. When I explained what is happening with my Panasonic 26 inch integrated HDTV, the repairperson Andy told me that they knew about this problem before and this cannot be fixed. They have seen this problem and have reported to the Panasonic engineers; the engineers have not developed a software or hardware update, and the TV cannot be repaired. On tuesday Nov 6th I told this news from Lake Electronic to the Panasonic people, and they promised to me to get back to me within 3 days. I called them several times with no answer; Finally on Nov 20th, Amanda from Panasonic called me and told me that Time Warner Cable is sending the signals very close that their panasonic QAM tuner is not sensitive enough to resolve them. Amanda also told me that there are other TV s from other companies with the same problem. Also the new models of Panasonic have the same problem. She told me to subscribe to a Time Warner converter box to solve the problem, even though in principle, if you have an integrated HDTV, you do not need a converter box.
