Sharp's LC19SB27UT is a widescreen HDTV LCD TV that provides a slim design, high-definition TV solution with a distinctive small foot print. It features a high performance LCD panel for high brightness, a high contrast ratio, low-reflection glare protection and wide viewing angles. The LC19SB27UT includes ATSC / NTSC tuners to receive off-air broadcasts as well as digital cable QAM capability to receive non scrambled digital cable programming. In addition, the LC19SB27UT is PC compatible and is an HDTV monitor for greater versatility. As an HDTV monitor, it is compatible with all 1080i and 720p signals from HDTV sources.

Great looking TV, easy to setup and use. We have it in a bright room (kitchen), the picture looks a little dark and the sound is pretty weak. Picture is sharp and clear.

After looking online and at B&M stores. I found this set on Amazon. At first I thought it must be a price mistake. After all, Walmart's



B&M cheapest set at the time was $188.00 + tax. That was for an Emerson 19" LCD. This being a Sharp TV, really made the decision a no brainer. My wife uses this in our bedroom and she loves it. Set-up was a breeze. Simple controls and menus are exactly what she needed.


I liked this deal so much. I've decided as I'm writing this review, To purchase another one for my 10 year old daughter.

I have had this TV less than a day and I consider this my best purchase from Amazon. It took me a total of 15 minutes to have the base attached, cable hooked up, and programed. I had looked at RCA, LG, Vizio, Samsung and several others and I am very happy with my choice. I have a small apartment and my TV sets on a rolling tv cart so I can move it back when I am thru watching it. So, I was impressed with the large base and stability. The TV I had before was a Coby 15 inch, and while that is a good TV, it can't compare to this one. I would suggest adding speakers to your purchase. I had ordered Altec Lansing speakers from Amazon before and they work perfect with this TV. The speakers hook into the headphones jack on the back of the tv and you still have a headphone jack on the speakers. The appearance of the tv is great and the size is just right. I had looked at 19, 22, 24, and even 26. I am sure glad I choose this size.

The TV arrived promptly and was set up in about 10 minutes. I use it in my bedroom and am very pleased with the portability and quality. I was afraid that the speakers might not be loud enough, but it is absolutely perfect.

The TV is the best in it's class. The thing I like most about it is that the viewing radius is a lot wider than on most of the 19-26" LCDs.
